Sustainability at Orginik is not a section of the label. It is the set of constraints we formulate inside: plant-derived chemistry, biodegradable actives, and concentrates that stop us shipping water around the country.
The honest version
What we can claim, and what we can't
Cleaning chemistry has an environmental cost. What a manufacturer can control is how large that cost is and how honestly it is described.
Here is what we do control: the actives we choose and whether they biodegrade, how concentrated the pack is and therefore how much packaging and freight sits behind each litre of working solution, and whether the dose on the label is the dose that actually works.
Here is what we do not claim: that our products are consumable, that they are harmless if misused, or that any cleaning chemical is free of impact. The safety panel on every pack says exactly what it needs to.

Plant-derived actives
Botanical extracts such as lemongrass, turmeric root, neem and citrus zest oils, with plant-derived surfactants carrying the cleaning performance.
Biodegradable formulations
Actives are selected to break down after use, reducing the load our products place on water systems and soil downstream.
Concentrated, not diluted
At 3 to 40 ml per litre, one five litre pack becomes hundreds of litres of working solution. You buy the chemistry, not the water.
Less freight per clean
Shipping concentrate instead of ready-to-use solution cuts the packaging, pallets and diesel behind every litre actually used.
No harsh residue
Products that rinse and dry clean mean less re-cleaning, less water and less product across the life of a floor or a fabric.
ISO 14001:2015
Manufacturing operates under the ISO 14001:2015 environmental management standard, with documentation available on request.
The arithmetic of concentrate
Why a 5 litre pack is the sustainable choice
A ready-to-use cleaner is mostly water, and that water gets bottled, palletised and driven to you. A concentrate lets you add it at the point of use.
20 ml per litre
Dura Floor Advance at routine dosing. One five litre pack makes 250 litres of mopping solution.
10 to 15 ml per litre
Ginger Lemon Dish Soap at regular use. One pack makes 330 to 500 litres of wash water.
3 to 4 ml per kg
Tex Clean Pro dosing. One pack handles roughly 1,250 to 1,650 kg of laundry.
Figures are arithmetic from the dosing rates printed on each pack, at the lowest recommended dose. Actual consumption varies with soil level, water hardness and method.
